MITS JSON-LD – Professional Schema.org Module for modified eCommerce Shopsoftware

The free MITS JSON-LD module from MerZ IT-SerVice adds structured data to your modified eCommerce Shopsoftware in a technically sound way, exactly as Google recommends. The module automatically generates valid JSON-LD code for important content such as products, offers, businesses, LocalBusiness, breadcrumbs and reviews.

The current module version goes a step further, representing important shop logic directly in JSON-LD:

• Support for Custom-LD: JSON-LD manually inserted into product, category or content text is automatically detected, removed from the HTML and cleanly integrated into the shared @graph, without duplicate or conflicting markup.
• Configurable shippingDetails: countries, shipping method, price, currency, handling and transit times, and optional order value thresholds (minValue/maxValue) are output as OfferShippingDetails.
• Sophisticated return rules: through simple configuration, the module generates hasMerchantReturnPolicy with return periods, fee models (retailer/customer/free) and return methods (by shipping, in store, both or no returns).
• Automatic priceValidUntil: if a special price has an expiry date, that date is used; otherwise, a default validity period in days can be configured.
• priceRange for LocalBusiness

Perfect integration with MITS FAQ Manager

The MITS JSON-LD module is specifically designed to work perfectly with MITS FAQ Manager:

• FAQ entries from MITS FAQ Manager are automatically output in JSON-LD as a FAQPage or Question/Answer structure.
• Additional FAQ or Question JSON-LD blocks (Custom-LD) stored in product text are detected and, together with FAQ data from MITS FAQ Manager, merged.
• Duplicate questions are automatically avoided: questions with the same title appear only once in the final FAQPage.
• The result is a clean, consolidated FAQ structure that includes both module FAQs and individually embedded FAQ JSON-LD blocks.

You can therefore maintain frequently asked questions flexibly in MITS FAQ Manager, in product text or using both, while the module ensures clean, consistent JSON-LD in the background.

• Integrate your social media profiles
• Configure local business data (address, geographical coordinates, price range)
• Configure shipping rules for shippingDetails (countries, prices, times, order value thresholds)

• Control attributes, tags and the maximum number of Offers

To prevent duplicate structured data, the module can automatically remove microdata attributes from existing HTML if desired. This ensures that only valid JSON-LD is output, regardless of the template used.
