Description for MITS GPSR ExtManufacturers - Extended Manufacturer Information
This module lets you extend the manufacturer information in your modified eCommerce shop easily and in compliance with the law. Enter detailed contact data in accordance with the ProdSVG (Product Safety Act) and GPSR (General Product Safety Regulation) to meet EU legal requirements. This tool lets you store all relevant information. If a manufacturer is based outside the EU, you can also enter the contact details of the responsible EU representative.
Seamless frontend integration
The entered data can be displayed effortlessly in the frontend. You can choose to use dedicated Smarty variables in your templates or have the information automatically supplement the MANUFACTURERS_ADD_DESCRIPTION and MANUFACTURERS_DESCRIPTION fields (optionally in product listings). This flexibility lets you place manufacturer information exactly where it is most useful to your customers.
