The administration area of modified eCommerce shop software is functional and well established, but many areas were originally designed for conventional desktop workstations. This can make everyday work unnecessarily cumbersome on smaller screens, tablets or smartphones.
MITS Responsive Admin modernises the existing modified eCommerce administration interface without requiring changes to core files. The familiar interaction structure is retained, while gaining a more modern appearance, responsive navigation, more usable forms and tables and numerous improvements for everyday work in the shop backend.
The result is not an entirely new administration area that you have to learn from scratch, but a contemporary evolution of the existing modified administration interface.

MITS Responsive Admin is integrated through the existing extension mechanisms of modified eCommerce shop software. No changes to existing core files are required.

MITS Responsive Admin selectively modernises this presentation and uses a contemporary local system font. This makes the administration area look calmer, clearer and considerably more pleasant on modern displays.
Independently designed modules and components are left untouched wherever possible.
Improved forms and configuration pages
Particularly extensive configuration pages can quickly become difficult to navigate on smaller screens. MITS Responsive Admin therefore optimises numerous typical structures in modified eCommerce shop software.
These include three-column configuration tables, standard administration boxes, file upload fields, buttons, tabs and various input fields and selection lists.
Optional protection against unwanted autofill
Browsers and password managers sometimes misidentify input fields in the administration area and automatically insert saved usernames, email addresses or passwords.
MITS Responsive Admin therefore offers optional autofill and password manager protection for standard administration forms. The actual login pages are excluded, so password managers can still be used there as usual.
Because browsers and password managers use their own detection mechanisms, completely suppressing autofill cannot technically be guaranteed in every case.
Respect for independently designed extensions
Not every module uses the classic modified eCommerce shop interface. Some extensions include their own stylesheets, forms and complete user interfaces.
MITS Responsive Admin is therefore designed so that these areas can be excluded from general content styling when required. The header and navigation of modified administration can still be used, while the module's own interface retains its design.
